When dealing with a large indoor space like workshops, warehouses, or milking sheds it is not feasible to heat the entire area. Kelray’s radiant industrial heaters can be utilised to only heat very specific work areas. Why We Only Use Marine Grade Stainless Steel.
Most would assume that stainless steel means just that - stainless! Unfortunately for NZ consumers, this is not the case.
Stainless steel comes in many different grades. The most common grade used in many industrial overhead heaters is 304 grade. While this is sufficient in some regions, it is prone to rust in saline environments, like coastal cities. New Zealand is a nation of coastal settlements. This means 304 grade products deteriorate within a couple of years of use. All overseas-made heaters use cheaper-grade steel.
Kelray exclusively uses 316 marine-grade stainless steel in the construction of our industrial heaters. 316 includes addition of higher quantities molybdenum. Molybdenum drastically enhances corrosion resistance in exposed environments.
