As the fire burns, the metal naturally heats up, especially in areas near the flames. However, once the fire dies down, the fins function as efficient radiators, rapidly dispersing heat. Thanks to the thermal properties of metal, the larger fins cool down within minutes, making them safe to touch. In most cases, the firepit can be disassembled by hand in around 10 minutes after the fire has gone out.
